Jestaminute Recorded Audio Memories
In 2016-7, the Jestaminute Community Theatre cic undertook a Heritage Lottery funded project to record the memories of Redditch Residents who had first hand experiences of the changes brought about by the designation of Redditch as a "New Town"
Using volunteer interviwers the project collected many hours of oral history recordings.
These recordings have be reviewed and edited and elsewhere on this site you can listen to those memories under the headings of Industry, Housing & Development, Migration, and Leisure & Shopping.
In addition, local playright, Andy Higgitt, edited many on the memories into a audio play.
